Overview
This 12-session, intermediate-level course is designed for participants who already have a foundational understanding of aquaculture and are looking to expand their knowledge of industry best practices, business strategy, and sustainable operations.
The course is non-matriculating and offered in a hybrid format—you can attend in person, online, or a combination of both. Weekly class materials will be posted online in advance.
What You’ll Learn
The curriculum takes a practical, industry-informed approach to common workplace aquaculture issues, with weekly topics including:

- Aquaculture Business 201: Economics of Shellfish Farming
- Staying Healthy in Aquaculture
- 21st Century Farming Principles, Practices, and Considerations
Registration
