Rhode Island Sea Grant Communications Internship

Rhode Island Sea Grant Communications has a paid spring semester undergraduate internship available for 10 hours per week, with the potential to extend into the summer. 

We are looking for a reliable self-starter who works well as part of a team and independently. We have many projects that a student may help with, including:

  • Event planning and hosting 
  • Social media/marketing
  • Writing brief news updates
  • Visiting and cataloguing shoreline access sites
  • Office/admin projects

This job is located at the URI Bay Campus on South Ferry Road in Narragansett, with some off-site meetings/events. Applicants should demonstrate strong interpersonal and written communication skills and must have reliable transportation.
