Join the Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council (CRMC) and Rhode Island Sea Grant for the third in a series of free webinars this summer on issues related to shoreline public access in Rhode Island.

Hosted by the CRMC and Rhode Island Sea Grant, this webinar will highlight the critical role of municipalities and community-based organizations in establishing, maintaining, and protecting shoreline public access along the Rhode Island coast. Hear from Andrew Nota, town manager for the East Greenwich, and Barbara Ray, public access representative for the North Kingstown Harbor Commission, regarding coastal access issues in municipalities, as well as the work they are conducting to facilitate shoreline public access. Rich Hittinger of the Rhode Island Saltwater Anglers Association (RISAA) will conclude the presentations by introducing RISAA’s role in ensuring coastal access across the state, specifically through their participation in CRMC’s Adopt-an-Access program.
