Rhode Island Sea Grant and the University of Rhode Island Coastal Resources Center are gearing up for the next session of the Professional Aquaculture Training: Beyond the Basics for Businesses and Practitioners course, and we want to hear from you!
We would like to hear from potential students so we may gauge interest to ensure sufficient resources and space for participation.
Please complete a short interest form if you are considering joining the course. You only need to submit it once.

This 12-week, intermediate-level course is designed for participants who already have a foundational understanding of aquaculture and are looking to expand their knowledge of industry best practices, business strategy, and sustainable operations.
The course is non-matriculating and offered in a hybrid format—you can attend in person, online, or a combination of both. Weekly class materials will be posted online in advance, and an optional weekly “office hours” session will be available both in person and virtually (time TBD).
