BASIC FUNCTION:

In collaboration with the Rhode Island Sea Grant Director, provide strategic leadership, oversight, and vision to help guide Rhode Island Sea Grant in expanding and extending its values of diversity, equity, and inclusion and anti-racism. Provide leadership to build, maintain, and enhance relationships with communities, facilitate opportunities for deeper community engagement, and better connect Rhode Island Sea Grant with partners and collaborators from historically underserved groups. Help expand pathways and access to Rhode Island Sea Grant programs and services to diverse audiences and ultimately foster a more inclusive, welcoming, supportive, and diverse community within Rhode Island Sea Grant and across the larger Sea Grant Network.
