Offshore Wind and the Sakonnet River: A Dialogue for Coastal Communities II

Join us on for the second installment in a three-part series discussing offshore wind cable installation up the Sakonnet River and how community members can engage.

Municipal and state regulators from the Town of Portsmouth, Rhode Island Coastal Resources Management Council, and the Rhode Island Energy Facilities Siting Board will walk the group through their decision-making process for offshore wind development in state waters, particularly cable installation. Speakers will also highlight when public learning and input take place in the process and how the public can effectively engage.

In this interactive discussion, experts will answer questions to the best of their ability.
