
Rhode Island Sea Grant is seeking Rhode Island senior and junior undergraduates for its Communication Internship program.
Two internship opportunities are available to support the communications efforts of Rhode Island Sea Grant, a statewide program based at the University of Rhode Island that supports research, extension, and education in ocean and coastal issues.


These internships are for senior and junior undergraduate students in journalism/writing and videography and are intended to help us develop ocean and coastal science, outreach, and human interest stories for public audiences.

This is a paid internship of 10 hours per week and course credit may also be available. Prior experience in reporting and/or video production and editing are preferred. An ability to work independently and take appropriate initiative are important to this internship, as are strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
