We are considering numerous proposals that have been submitted for the 2008-2010 Omnibus Proposal. Those who have submitted pre-proposals will be notified of pre-proposal evaluations on April 3. For more information, visit http://seagrantadm.gso.uri.edu/index.

For the past few years Rhode Island Sea Grant has been providing some administrative support, mainly web site design and implementation, for Partners in Ocean Instrumentation (POI), a university collaborative. This collaborative has led to the formation of the Center of Excellence for Undersea Technology (COEUT), a partnership with strong ties to the Naval Underwater Warfare College (NUWC). The Navy is working with COEUT to develop a more reliable stream of recruits to NUWC from URI and other institutions. For more information, visit http://seagrantadm.gso.uri.edu/POI_Web/poi_home.htm.
