Friends and colleagues,

              The Rhode Island Sea Grant Omnibus Research RfP process is moving along according to schedule. We received 31 proposals to the Omnibus Research call, 12 to the Collaborative Fisheries call, and seven to the Legal Research call. Rhode Island is also involved with four regional proposals. The grand total of all these requests is $7 million. This RfP has garnered the largest response yet, both in number and diversity of institutions applying.
