Two-Day Workshop
Working Documents and Background Materials
This
two-day symposium will initiate a visioning process of observing,
defining and
discussing the problems and issues facing a successful waterfront
district. Speakers will present an historical background of the harbor, past and current plans
and a case study
of successful planning of a Northeast port. Through study tours and
discussions, participants will formulate ideas and recommendations to be utilized in
the continuing development and planning of Newport’s unique waterfront.
