New: Nepal report includes phrases like "women of the Raina Tar showed exceptional enthusiasm for the project....... in two years with a budget of less than US$10,000 AwF-Nepal has been successful in digging 70 ponds........ 80% of the fish have been consumed by the families......... 300 family members of the women fish farmers and a primary school with about 500 children have benefited.... before initiation of the project, aquaculture activity in the whole district was almost none.....

Aquaculture without Frontiers (AwF) was founded in 2004 by Michael New, OBE.

AwF is an independent non-profit organisation that promotes and supports responsible and sustainable aquaculture in the alleviation of poverty by improving livelihoods in developing countries.

AwF draws on the experience of respected professionals from every relevant discipline.

AwF devotes all of its resources and attention to aquaculture.

AwF encourages interaction, cooperation and linkages with other organisations.

AwF is a registered non-profit organization in the USA, and a registered charity in the UK.
