Lessons Learned

The following case studies examine marina-related best management practices (BMPs) for dealing with solid and liquid waste, and for boater education. Each case study provides:

• a general description of the practice;
• a summary of implementation and evaluation;
• an explanation of the associated costs, pollutants collected, and overall effectiveness; and
• final statements on lessons learned, along with recommendations future use of the practice.
